Symbols of Christmas is a 4-week study designed for children ages 6-10. Because I know that homeschooling revolves around the entire family, you'll find picture study, songs, and handicrafts that children of all ages can participate in.
This study includes passages from the beautifully-written book Christmas and Christmas Lore by T.G. Grippen. It contains four lessons a week, most of which center around a symbol or tradition that Grippen discussed. In this study, you'll find:
- Book suggestions about the topics that are covered
- Art study, to bring beauty into your homeschool
- Scripture copywork pages
- Lyrics to lead worship in your home
- Handicraft suggestions that are appropriate for multiple age-levels
- Beautiful poems to read aloud
- A tradition-planning page, to establish timeless traditions each year
Through studying these symbols, my hope is that your family can see Jesus in all areas of Christmas.
